Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce Director Kevin Nolt has been appointed President-Elect of the Governing Board for the Western Pension & Benefits Council (WP&BC) as of July 1, 2019. Kevin also served as President of the San Francisco Chapter of the WP&BC for the 2017-2019 term.

The Governing Board provides guidance to and coordination between all ten chapters of the WP&BC, as well as partners with the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) in offering an annual conference for benefits professionals. The WP&BC was founded in San Francisco in 1954 to address the educational needs of pension specialists. Through the years, WP&BC expanded its scope to include those with responsibilities in the health and welfare fields. Today, WP&BC is recognized as the premier educational and professional organization in the western United States for the dynamic field of employee benefits.

Nolt focuses his practice on qualified retirement plans, including defined benefit plans (both traditional and cash balance plans) and defined contribution plans (401(k), profit sharing, ESOPs and money purchase pension plans), and plans of tax exempt entities and public schools and universities, including 403(b) and 457 plans. His clients include benefit plans, service providers and employers of all sizes and industries, including Fortune 50 companies.
