Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce Joseph C. Faucher, Brian D. Murray and Catherine L. Reagan have co-authored the article “Attorney Fees in ERISA Benefits Litigation: Recent Cases” in the Winter 2021 Volume 28 Number 2 issue of Journal of Pension Benefits.

The article is the first of a two-part series of articles regarding the law relating to awards of attorney fees in cases governed by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act. It addresses the law relating to fee awards in cases involving claims for plan benefits. The succeeding article will address fee awards in the context of claims for alleged breaches of fiduciary duty, including cases filed as class actions.
