Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce its participation in the LA Advanced Pension and 401(k) Conference. The conference will be held January 23 and 24, 2020 at the Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City.

During the conference, director Joseph Faucher will lead “Litigation Risks for Plan Sponsors and Fiduciaries.” A rundown on current retirement plan litigation, along with risks and issues that plan sponsors and fiduciaries should consider.

Craig Hoffman will lead two sessions, “Fiduciary Developments” and “401(k) Hot Topics.” “Fiduciary Developments” will explore the next iteration of DOL fiduciary regulations, SEC Reg BI, initiatives moving forward at the state level and the implications for plans, sponsors and participants, along with other fiduciary issues. “401(k) Hot Topics” will discuss how a “backdoor” Roth contribution works, what changed in the final hardship regulations and how to assess whether a student loan 401(k) matching program makes sense.

The LA Advanced Pension & 401(k) Conference offers a unique educational opportunity and is designed especially for practicing pension actuaries, attorneys and other retirement plan professionals.
