Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce it sponsored the Diversity Reception at the 19th Annual Conference on Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law on February 21-24 in Scottsdale, AZ. The ABA Health Law Section’s Conference on Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law covered the most emergent topics facing the healthcare bar.
In addition to the firm’s sponsorship, Trucker Huss Director Tiffany Santos participated in a panel discussion “Protecting Immigrant Access to Healthcare” focused on laws and policies at the federal, state, and local levels related to immigrant access to healthcare and human services and what providers face firsthand as they furnish care. The discussion included programs available to undocumented immigrants, how they have been enforced, barriers to access, and the issues that providers face when treating immigrants. Santos currently serves as the Chair of the ABA Health Law Section’s Coordinating Committee on Diversity.
Santos counsels employers and multiemployer trusts on all aspects of their employee benefit plans, including health and welfare plans, Section 125 cafeteria plans, and qualified retirement plans.
