Trucker Huss, APC is pleased to announce Director Tiffany Santos will serve as Chairperson of the American Bar Association (ABA) Joint Committee on Employee Benefits (JCEB) for the 2020 – 2021 term, effective September 1, 2020. Santos has been a member of the JCEB since 2009, and has served in various subcommittee leadership capacities for several years.

The JCEB is the central and dedicated ABA provider and coordinator of employee benefits in-person CLE programs and webinars as well as annual meetings with the federal agencies that issue regulations and enforce the laws that govern employee benefit plans and deferred compensation arrangements.

Santos says, “I am honored to serve in the role of Chairperson of the JCEB. I look forward to working with my fellow distinguished committee members and ABA staff to provide quality programming for practitioners in the field of employee benefits.”

Santos counsels employers and multiemployer trusts on all aspects of their employee benefit plans, including health and welfare plans, Section 125 cafeteria plans, and qualified retirement plans. She assists clients with compliance matters; administrative and plan design issues; plan, SPD and amendment drafting; IRS submissions; IRS and DOL investigations; and the review and negotiation of service provider agreements, including investment manager agreements.
