Lorne Dauenhauer, a longtime partner at Ogletree Deakins has joined Trucker Huss and will lead its executive compensation practice. Lorne has more than three decades of experience working in the employee benefits field, both as an attorney and actuary, and will be based in the firm’s Portland office. He has long been one of the leading benefits practitioners in the Pacific Northwest, delivering sophisticated legal guidance on employee benefits, executive compensation, and related tax and ERISA matters to a variety of clients, including small businesses, Fortune 50 companies, and multiemployer pension funds. Lorne is recognized by Chambers and Partners USA as a leading lawyer for Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation.

Prior to joining the firm, Lorne practiced in employee benefits with Ogletree Deakins and Lane Powell. He received a Bachelor of Science in mathematics and computer science from Gonzaga University and a law degree from the Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College. He is admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington and Montana. Prior to becoming an attorney, Lorne spent ten years as an actuarial consultant specializing in qualified and non-qualified pension plans.
