Robert joined Trucker Huss in 2003, after practicing in Massachusetts for several years. Robert litigates a wide variety of benefits and compensation-related cases in the federal and state courts involving pension and health and welfare plans. He represents Taft-Hartley trust funds and he counsels clients extensively in the areas of fiduciary responsibility and plan administration. He also serves as a court-appointed mediator in ERISA cases for the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
Robert has spoken or written articles on the Pension Protection Act of 2006, various aspects of ERISA litigation, executive compensation issues, retirement plans for nonprofits, and fair employment practices. He was selected as a Northern California Super Lawyer in ERISA/Employee Benefits in 2009.
