Michelle concentrates her practice primarily on qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and ERISA litigation. She assists clients with drafting plan documents, SPDs and amendments; analyzing plan administrative issues; reviewing and drafting qualified domestic relations orders; preparing IRS submissions; responding to DOL and IRS audits and investigations; and addressing various litigation issues.
Prior to joining Trucker Huss, Michelle worked for the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security Administration, where she focused on ERISA fiduciary matters.
Michelle is also a contributing author for the ABA Labor Section's Employee Benefits Law, published by BNA.
