Michelle concentrates her practice on employee benefits and ERISA
litigation, including cases involving benefits claims, fiduciary issues, plan
administration and multiemployer plans. In addition, Michelle counsels plan
fiduciaries on issues concerning benefit claims and appeals and DOL and IRS
investigations and assists clients in drafting plan documents, analyzing
investment management contracts and reviewing qualified domestic relations
orders.
Prior to joining Trucker Huss, Michelle
worked for the U.S. Department of Labor, Employee Benefits Security
Administration, where she focused on ERISA fiduciary matters.
Michelle is also a contributing author for the ABA Labor Section's Employee Benefits Law, published by BNA.
