Mr. Gouaux concentrates his practice on the
design and tax-qualification of retirement plans including pension,
profit sharing, 401(k) and 403(b) plans, and employee
benefits related tax matters. He assists clients with plan compliance and administrative
issues, plan amendments and summary plan descriptions, qualified
domestic relations orders, service provider agreements such as
investment manager agreements, and IRS determination letter applications
and submissions under the IRS Employee Plans Compliance Resolution
System (EPCRS) and the DOL Voluntary Fiduciary Correction (VFC)
Programs.
Matt is a contributing author to the ABA Labor Section’s Employee Benefits Law, published by BNA.
